Emme I really want to re-do the bathroom upstairs… most especially the floor. I also love Victorian decor… do you think this design is a bit too ambitious?
Wood is mold-resistant… right? I can’t help it, I’m just in love with dark wood paneling. I would actually have this bathroom built if I was rich and designing a manor house for myself (because manor houses totally have a place in modern New England). Maybe I’ll aim for putting some paneling in my room first… I think it would go great with the sparkly purple ceiling. 🙂
Or maybe I’ll just try putting some crown molding on the ceiling… you know, baby steps… work up to the fully wood-lined bath.
